The recommendation engine 
functionality enables TrendMiner to provide automated tag suggestions that may be relevant to your current analysis. This will help you to proactively generate a hypothesis concerning the root cause of process and asset issues.
The recommendation engine can be used;
- to identify tags that correlate with your current active tags, potentially in upstream process sections - 'correlation recommendations', and;
- to identify tags that have deviated from a fingerprint, - 'fingerprint deviation recommendations'.
