TrendMiner provides powerful search dimensions that enable you to search your current and historical data. Because your search activity can yield critical information, it is crucial to save your searches.
Searches can be saved for different purposes:
- To reuse the search at a later time.
- To create a derived criteria-based filter.
- To monitor for new search results.
- To create a trigger for fingerprint deviation monitoring.
To save a search click the save icon at the top right of the search window. In the subsequent form, name your search and optionally add a description. The conditions of the search will be shown below the description window. To couple a criteria-based filter to your search, check the appropriate box(es) under 'Create derived filter'. Finally, press 'Save'.
Saved searches are accessible via the 'Saved searches' hyperlinks under the different search dimensions in the search menu. The number in between brackets defines the number of saved searches under this dimension.
To edit a saved search, open it via the 'Saved searches' hyperlink under the different search dimensions in the search menu. Edit the search conditions and resave the search by clicking the 'Save' button. The 'Name', 'Description' and 'Create derived filters' can be changed as well when resaving.
To edit a saved search, open it via the 'Saved searches' hyperlink under the different search dimensions in the search menu. Click the delete icon on the left of the search conditions and click 'OK' in the subsequent dialog box.
