Getting started [4/5] - TrendMiner Searches

At this point, you're familiar with adding and creating tags in TrendMiner. The next step is performing searches.

Searches help you identify time periods for which specific process behavior is observed. Get a look at TrendMiner's search options and learn how to perform your first value-based search in the video below. Next, continue on this page for some more inspiration...

Doing more with searches

Utilizing similarity search, area search, calculations

With similarity searches, you can quickly find and analyze similar dynamic behavior based on signal shape. By doing this, you can easily determine how frequently the signal shape appears in the data stream, and hence how frequently a certain event occurs in the operation of your process. Learn more

The operating area search functionality enables you to search for data inside or outside of a drawn region in the scatter plot.  Learn more

Calculations on search results enable the calculation of a summary metric for a tag of interest (e.g. calculate the maximum temperature attained during a batch) over the time interval of your search results (e.g. historically produced batches of a given product). Learn more
